# How it works

Solar Mining \
**What you need:**\
\- *At least one solar system*

How to mine minerals is explained in the following steps:\
\
**Step 1:** \
\- *Go to the Solar Mining Terminal in Caracin City and press "E"*

**Step 2:** \
\- *Press "Show my Solar Systems" to start*

**Step 3:** \
\&#xNAN;*- Here you will now see an overview of all your solar systems* \
*- Select the desired solar system and press "LOAD SOL SYSTEM"*

**Step 4:** \
\- *The desired solar system has now been loaded and you can start the mining process*

To the overview: \
On the left you will find your cargo ships, these are needed to bring the minerals from the solar system to your base.

On the right you see some statistics like the name and very important the position of your solar system in the galaxy.

In the middle you see the types of planets available in this solar system.

**Step 5:** \
\- *Select a cargo ship on the left side and choose the minerals and their number in the middle that it should transport*\
*- P*ress the green tick

**Step 6:** \
**-** *Check your entries again and click on "Confirm"*

The cargo ships consume energy cells. \
You will now receive a request in the Enjin Wallet to send these energy cells. \
Confirm this in your wallet and the cargo ship will be on its way.

The consumption of energy cells depends on the distance of the solar system and the type of cargo ship!

Once the cargo ship has returned, you will automatically receive the minerals to your wallet.

**That's it**\
now you can start mining minerals and use them for crafting or sell them on the EnjinX marketplace.
